Verify payment instructions before sending money.
Use confirmed channels
Only pay using official instructions issued by Kenya School of Languages through the branch, an approved invoice, or another verified institutional channel.
Standard language-course fees
For the standard language programmes shown on this website, the Kenya School of Languages registration fee is KES 1,000. Tuition per level is KES 36,000 for Core languages or KES 60,000 for Specialist languages (Kenyan Sign Language is priced individually at KES 30,000 per level). See the language tier list for which languages fall in each tier, before any optional third-party examination or certification fee.
External examinations are separate
International examination and certificate charges—such as IELTS, TOEFL, Goethe-Zertifikat, DELF/DALF, HSK, JLPT, TOPIK, Hamza and other external credentials—are set by the relevant examining body or authorised test centre and can change. Confirm the current published tariff and registration window before paying an external provider.
Confirm the amount
Before payment, confirm the course or service, applicable fee, any additional charges, and the payment reference that should be used.
Keep proof of payment
Retain the payment confirmation and share it only through an official Kenya School of Languages contact if requested for verification.
Suspected fraud
If payment instructions appear unusual or differ from information previously issued, do not pay until you verify them by calling the branch directly.
